Before June became busy with formal plein air opportunities, the Great Lakes Plein Air Painters (GLPAPA) hosted a trip to Fish Town. On day one, a couple of us painted the boats moored in the harbor. I wasn't happy with my creation so I began again the following day. As the passengers were returning from their Manitou Island tour a couple of ladies commented on my work. They liked it so well one of them bought it right off the easel.
