Spying this horse stable on my way home from a morning of painting, I pulled over and called the number on the sign to request permission to paint.  Well, the horses all moved way too quickly to paint so I painted the barns.  I struggled finding dominate neutrals and the never ending greens that asserted themselves in my work (like the subject has a mind of its own)! Feeling like a needed a challenge, I took some photos and worked in the studio on the next rainy day (see below) and included a horse or two.
