Those of you that know Jackson will recognize the train engine permanently parked at Greene Park, just west of the many park lagoons featuring water fowl. With found memories of visiting "the duck pond" as a child and feeding them, I decided to return. This time coming as an adult and as an artist, I was less enthralled by the ducks and the geese, as they noisily protested my presence. Silently I was protesting their droppings as I tried to select a spot and still get a good view of the train. But the day proved sunny and warm for late September and I was not going to throw in the towel so to speak.
